Lead Bartender

Duties Include:

  • Exceptional guest service
  • Ability to properly mix cocktails found on our menu and as requested by guests
  • Prepare wine, beer, and other beverages as required by servers, guests at the bar, and for in room dining
  • Assist with Wine Cellar organization, order and inventory of bar and cellar products
  • Maintain bar cleanliness
  • Work in a team environment and assist in the restaurant as required
  • Balance end of day financial transactions

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant and/or bar environment
  • Thorough knowledge of food, wine, beer, cocktails, port, scotch and other spirits
  • An appreciation for detail and exceptional guest service
  • Professionalism and positive attitude
  • A calm, polite and composed demeanor
  • Knowledgeable of Squirrel computer system
  • Valid Serving It Right Certification
  • A desire to contribute exciting and innovative ideas towards the ongoing improvement of The Pointe Restaurant and the Wickaninnish Inn as a whole
  • Ability to make a 1-year commitment to the position
